I'm assuming all else works properly with this product, but wouldn't know, because, brand new, right out of the box, the valve body on mine was split. This means that the moment I put fluid in the jar, it starts to leak out. How shoddy. Overall, this product brings to mind the phrase "cheap Chinese," and, even if the valve body were not split, I'm not optimistic that the blender would function well for very long.
