6-Quart Round Crockery Cooker has a brushed stainless steel exterior with a white crock and trim. The Crockery Cooker features three heat settings; hi, low and keep warm, and has a glass cover for easy viewing.Chili, soups, stews, and roasts slowly cook to juicy perfection in this six-quart crockery cooker. Round in shape and handsomely designed with a brushed stainless-steel exterior, the cooker features heat-resistant handles and a removable stoneware crock that is safe for use in the microwave and dishwasher. The crock can be filled with food the night before, refrigerated with the lid on, and placed inside the cooker base (not preheated) the next morning before heading off to work. Three heat settings-keep warm, low, and high-allow flexibility in serving and cooking, and the cooker automatically adjusts to keep the temperature steady. For safety, an operating light lets the user know when the cooker is turned on and rubber feet keep the crock stable.
While the crock is made of durable stoneware, it is not intended for use in a conventional oven, on top of a burner, under a broiler, or in a freezer. The glass lid, handy for viewing contents during cooking, is not microwave-safe but can be cleaned in a dishwasher. Assembled with lid on, the cooker measures 11 by 14 inches; the interior of just the crock measures 5 by 9-1/2 inches.
